Report a scam, phishing or malware website
Found a fake sign-in page, a fake shop or a site pushing malware? Tell us. We review every report, and confirmed sites are added to the lists that block them for everyone using Web Protection.
What happens to your report
- The site is checked straight away against our lists and for the usual warning signs, without opening it.
- One of us reviews it, so that an honest site is never blocked by mistake.
- If it's harmful, it's added to Web Protection's lists at their next update (every four hours), next to the sources our open-source Yuix-Networks/blocklists project collects, and this website checker flags it too.
Not sure whether a site is a scam? Check it first with our website scam checker.
Report it to others too
- Google Safe Browsing protects Chrome, Safari and Firefox users: report phishing at safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/.
- If a company is being impersonated, tell it: most banks and big brands have a phishing address, such as reportphishing@apple.com.
- If you lost money, report it to your bank at once, and to the police or your country's fraud reporting service.
Questions about reporting a site
Paste its address in the form above, choose what kind of site it is, and send. You can also report it to Google Safe Browsing and to the company it pretends to be.
Not instantly: every report is reviewed first, so that an honest site isn't blocked by mistake. Once confirmed, the site is in Web Protection's lists at their next update, within four hours.
No. Leave it empty to report anonymously. If you add it, we use it only to tell you what we found.
Write to info@tidymymac.com with the address. Most listings come from public threat feeds, so we'll also tell you where to ask for removal at the source.
