Terms of Use

Last updated: October 11, 2026

These terms cover your use of Tidy My Mac (the "app"), which is distributed as a direct download from this site. Tidy My Mac is made and sold by Yuix Networks Inc. ("we", "us"), and these terms are an agreement between you and Yuix Networks Inc. By downloading or using the app, and by continuing to use it, you agree to these terms.

The app

Tidy My Mac is a macOS utility for finding and reclaiming disk space, removing apps and their leftovers, keeping your apps up to date, managing startup items and background services, watching system performance, reviewing security settings and permissions, scanning for malware, controlling which apps go online, blocking harmful sites, and detecting scam messages. It requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later. It is provided "as is," and while we test it carefully, we can't guarantee it is error-free or fit for every purpose.

Free trial and subscription

Every download includes a 7-day free trial of the whole app, starting the first time you open it. The trial needs no payment details, and nothing is charged when it ends; the app then stops working until you subscribe.

A subscription is bought on this site and covers one Mac. It costs $19.99 for the first year and renews automatically at $59.99 a year after that, unless you cancel. These prices are in US dollars and include sales tax or VAT where it applies. You can cancel at any time; the subscription then stays active until the end of the year already paid for and does not renew. There are no tiers or in-app purchases: the subscription includes every part of the app, its updates, virus signatures and blocklists. If we ever change the renewal price, we will tell you before it applies.

Payments and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

If Tidy My Mac isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 30 days of your first payment or of any renewal, no questions asked: request it at paddle.net or through the link in your receipt, or write to info@tidymymac.com. See the Refund Policy. Your statement shows the charge as PADDLE.NET*.

Permissions the app asks for

Tidy My Mac is not sandboxed. It requires macOS to grant it Full Disk Access in order to read the whole disk, which is what lets it report on junk, large files, startup items, and background services across the system rather than only inside your own folders. That grant is requested once at first launch, and you can revoke it at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access. Review the Privacy Policy for the full list of what the app reads.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app or our services for anything unlawful, for fraud or spam, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property. Don't interfere with the security of our services or anyone else's: no malware, no probing or attacking our servers, and no automated scraping of this site or our update, blocklist and scam-check services beyond what the app itself does. Don't use the app to attempt to access files or systems you don't have permission to access, or to circumvent macOS security protections for malicious purposes. Reverse-engineering the app is permitted only where applicable law allows it regardless of this agreement.

No warranty for detection results

Antivirus scanning and scam detection are best-effort tools based on the ClamAV signature databases and local heuristics. No security tool can guarantee detection of every threat, so we recommend keeping macOS and your other security tools up to date as well.

Updates

The app checks for updates in-app from a signed feed published on this site and installs only builds it can verify. Updates are included in your trial and subscription, and declining one does not affect any feature of the app.

Ownership

The app, its design, code, signature lists and blocklists as we publish them, and the Tidy My Mac name and logo belong to Yuix Networks Inc. or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on one Mac; it doesn't transfer any ownership. Bundled open-source components, such as the ClamAV engine, stay under their own licences, listed in the app's About window.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your subscription and access to our services if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if a payment is not made or is reversed, or where needed to stop fraud or protect the security of our services or other users. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yuix Networks Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including data loss from files removed via the Junk Cleaner. Always review the preview before confirming a cleanup.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
